20. Posted April 10, 2017. A large reason that there isn't many long hairstyles that aren't in ponytails is because of clipping issues and getting it to behave like hair. It's much easier to animate a ponytail (or just as physics to it) because you can make it move as a solid piece, without it looking odd. As much as I would also like there to.
